Ottawa Family Photographer – A Family Portrait

Last night I met with a family whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with on many occasions. This one though was special. For the last eight months, they’ve been challenged like most of us hope to never be. After a brutal car accident in September, they were forced to overcome obstacles and hurdles that I truly hope that very few every have to face.  Hospitalization, being away from family and rehabilitation has been at the forefront of their world and to mark what is hopefully a new season and a new beginning after this long journey, we met for a spring session.  What a treat it was to see them and have this moment.

This session was a special reminder to me and perhaps to others why it is important to hug the ones we love every day and even if it’s just with your camera phone – to take a photo every now and then 🙂
