Mini sessions in the spring – in Ottawa!

As the spring season breathes new life into our city, it’s the perfect time to capture the vibrant beauty that surrounds us. I eagerly await this time of year to seize the opportunity for memorable photoshoots. The winter can be long – feel so long and the renewal of spring always brings so much joy to me. I know my camera is ready and I’m ready to take on all the family sessions. One part of this is a small run of outdoor family mini sessions.

They’re a brilliant way capture your family in a short but impactful way. Choose an experienced photographer – like me – and you’ll find these quick sessions are the perfect addition to your annual photography plans. Maybe you like to do Christmas photos, studio children sessions, back to school or something else and this is just one of the additions to that plan. Maybe it’s the only one you do all year. Whatever the case, they’re fast and fun and we love them!

With the arrival of spring, time seems to speed up as nature’s beauty unfolds. That’s why the 15 minute family mini sessions are so popular but also so limited. Spring moves quickly, the days fly by and the season is so short. We have to be swift, plan ahead and get it done before summer arrives.

The larger sunset sessions offer more versatility, more time to roam and play and of course, more photos but if this doesn’t fit your budget or it’s simply not possible for you, a mini session may be the right fit.
